Throwing ourselves into the Christmas spirit, we at Worcester Music Fest are bringing you a whole 12 days of fun and festive treats. Working with some of Worcester’s best promoters and artists, we’ve made sure that the Christmas joy has well and truly been spread out.
Kicking off on the 13 th December, we’ll be hosting a whole evening of live music over at The Paul Pry with Malvern’s Nuns of the Tundra, who’ve recently reached the final of the Firestone Battle of the Bands competition, headlining. Alongside them will be Worcester’s own Purple Shades, Random Name Generator and more.
The following day, we’re pleased to say that we’re working in association with Boneyard Sessions who are bringing King Corpse, Thousand Mountain and Effigy for Sleep to Heroes, with our very own Christmas jumper day closely following on the 15th. Working in association with Faithful City Shows the 17th sees The Graveyard Johnnys come to The Marrs Bar for your viewing pleasure.
We have one hell of a giveaway for you on the 18th , giving you the chance to win tickets to the December editions of some of Worcester’s most exciting regular gig nights. We continue to spoil you on the 19th with yet another giveaway, this time giving you the opportunity to win a whole load of merch from nine of Worcester’s best acts!
The 20th will see Mytacism Music bring Tell Me I’m Pretty to our faithful city from Coventry following a set from local upcomer Chloe Elliot. One of the most popular promoters in Worcester, Uncover, will be treating you on the 21st to a fantastic night featuring favourites Skewwhiff, Poppy WS, Plastic Scene and Valence. Dec 22nd will see us teaming up with The Task in Hand to raise funds for Worcestershire Community Record Label, hosting Hallucinations, Black Boxes, Navajo Ace, Brownfield and more at The Marrs Bar.
The following day we’ll be joining up with Breakout for an alternative Club Night that will get you in the party spirit. Ending the festive treats on Christmas Eve at Bottles with a warming Christmas sing-a- long with the comforting vocals of Ruben Seabright; December is set to be fantastic from start to finish and you haven’t even heard the last of it yet! Keep an eye out for even more exciting announcements still to come…
