Indie-jazz / nu-funk artist based in Liverpool

Dedicated to the idea of moving both the body and mind, Slye combines the infectious, visceral grooves of late 70s - early 80s funk music such as Prince, Sly Stone and Funkadelic, with the introspective lyricism and melodies of Neo-soul and indie jazz.

Slye has featured on BBC Radio Wales, BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 6 as well as on national television with E4’s ‘Made In Chelsea’. Highlights includes: Liverpool Soundcity, BBC Introducing at the Cavern, supporting Liv Warfield (Prince, NPG) and is a feature of the Liverpool jazz scene.
