We are excited to be running a variety of free workshops suitable for all ages during the 2015 Worcester Music Festival weekend. From a drumming masterclass with powerhouse Jason Bowld to computer sound sequencing and an enlightening intro to singing in a group, Worcester Music Festival 2015 is a veritable playground of free workshops for the budding musician and anyone with an interest in learning a new skill

Worcester School of Rock are hosting a performance workshop followed by a live showcase which gives students an opportunity to play a live gig at the Marr’s Bar. For those who like to read music, the ever-popular accordion workshop will be taking place at the Elgar School Of Music.

Let’s not forget the wonderful Ukulele Club which in previous years has always been well attended, and once again be leading their ukulele workshop for absolute beginners to anyone who has been playing for a short while.

Our singing workshops welcome new comers to the music festival, Eve Sing-a-long, who’ll host a children’s workshop aimed at 7-15 years olds, using material such as ‘Someone Like You’, and ‘Let It Go’. Ria Keen who we are excited to have on board with festival will be leading an uplifting workshop for adults, who enjoy singing.

If dance is more your thing, then add a bit a little spice to weekend and try some new moves at our dancing workshops. Get into the groove with Lindy Hop Swing and Dance; you won’t be disappointed. Or fancy a try at The Can Can Dance and let your hair down? Our very own professional Liz Smith has put together an energetic workshop this year, which we are all, excited to see.

All our workshops are free, however any donations towards our 2015 charity are appreciated. This year we are raising funds for Worcestershire Rape ad Sexual Abuse Support Centre.
