Apologies for the radio silence Wumus, it’s been a crazy few weeks. First we were running around putting the finishing touches to Worcester Music Festival (WMF) 2013; then we moved on to enjoying the festival and all of the amazing music and workshops; then it was operation clean-up and wind-down. There’s a lot that goes in to running a music festival you know!
Since the end of this year’s festival, the team has been busy on various tasks, such as: administering the photo competition; securing additional donations for our charities; retrieving our banners from around the town; selling our merchandise; keeping the local press up to date; returning sound equipment to the rightful owners; uniting our raffle prizes with their rightful owners; gathering feedback from audiences and bands….and much more besides.
Currently, we are somewhere in between finishing off the final jobs for WMF 2013 and starting our preparations for Worcester Music Festival 2014. Yes, we really do start planning this early. Our Marketing, Funding and Charities committees already holding meetings to start work on next year’s festival.
